Bottlemart Express - Port Hotel
Worst pub meal I've had in a long time. Overpriced and the fish was inedible. Would've been disappointed if I paid half the asking price. If that was red Emperor it must've been frozen for 3 years. Old cardboard with a taste of offness. Veges were dry and burnt black. Blowflies had a safe haven in there. Very disappointed and disgusted with the price and quality. Won't be back, do yourself a favour and stay home and cook.

Bottlemart Express - Port Hotel
This is a great pub, and exactly what I think of when I think of what a pub should be like. Not the first time that I have been there and it will not be the last. They have great service with friendly staff, good food and a good price drink or two. I was there last Sunday and I would like to thank a few of the crew:-Jodie, thanks for the great service all night and good laughs especially at my “son” Dean.-Ryan, despite a close championship loss at pool, you were a real sport at the game of life, might have to ask Woody if you did finally get in the 10 push ups in a row.-Woody, Cid and Al, you blokes are the real deal, a bunch of absolute legends. Never have I felt so welcome. From playing pool, to carrying on afterwards, you blokes are were the life of the night, there were many laughs and it is a night that I will remember for ever. Sorry about the gate Woody, hopefully it pulled up alright.

Most disappointed with service !!!Went for dinner after a long day and they had several tables open-not reserved! Just because there were no tables available with two seats for two people they turned us away! Shocked to say the least! Do I have to buy a drink for the third and fourth seat just to get a meal for two??? Never had such bad service in Australia! Thanks Port Hotel!

Food was good, staff were pleasant but the pub regulars were disgusting. Got abused for playing pool and not versing" the winner even though he said he didn't want to. Female pub regular abused us and rudely talked about us to everyone else saying she was 'p*ssed' off at us and all sorts. We left straight after our game as she ruined it for us. Another bloke came out to yell profanitys at us as we walked away. I wouldn't recomment eating here or having a drink if you want a relaxing night."

Places like this are why I am so OCD about writing reviews . The food was delicious the service was fantastic. The staff both professional and nice. The atmosphere and cleanliness of the place was excellent. Costing was similar to normal pub prices . And there is a great beach accross the road

Tried to order dinner at 7:30pm , as the restaurant closes at 8pm but we were told nah we’ve been busy enough so we are closed . I replied “are you not open till 8 “ and both the owner and bar manager replied “ don’t care mate”What a great attitude to have , customer service at its best .Businesses like this whinge that people don’t support local this is why BECAUSE YOUR SERVICE SUCKS

Great bar service, fantastic views, good sized meals, however the steak and ribs were only luke warm, maybe just got unlucky?
