Iron Blow Lookout
Just wow, the winding road and the surrounding mountains makes this stop spectacular. Definitely a great spot to stop at.

great lookout. it is pretty sad to see the impact of mining on the earth and the landscape. there’s a parking lot with quite a few spots to park. if you’re doing horseshoe falls- might as well stop here on your way since it’s so close!

Amazing view but sad to see the aftermath of mining.The platform is 20m from the carpark and easily accessible.No restrooms on site.

Iron Blow Lookout
A nice stop to stretch the legs only 900m from the Lyell Hwy. This is the first mine site for the Mount Lyell field. There is no walk, just a viewing platform. The car park is small but has enough room for people towing to turn around. There is also a bin and information boards.

Breathtaking view from high point. A big pond caused by mining. It’s easy access from the highway. A great rest stop on road trip.

Took my breath away. A must see spot if you are in the area. I thought maybe people were editing the photos to make the water look extra vibrant but nope that’s just how it looks!!
