Start of rail trail to Everton, downhill to Everton, uphill most of the way back to Beechworth, don't try this if you are not fit the return journey is not for couch potatoes, also watch for snakes on the path in Summer, I surprised a very long brown snake and a smaller red belly black snake on the return journey late in the afternoon, also only toilets at Everton station another 3.5 ks to the township of Everton. Plenty of spots to wild camp along the trail. Great scenery. No coffee shops.
