Ditchfields Campsite
A wonderful spot to camp with the family or friends, with several campsites spread over the area it can accommodate quite a few groups without feeling overly crowded. There are cooking puts provided at several of the campsites and all of them have a picnic table.

Was told you could get camper trailers into here, but, unless you set up on the side of the road or the car park, it's walk in camping only.

So quiet, and peaceful absolutely 10/10The pit loos are getting long in the tooth now, but won't stop coming here. Since my last visit, fools damaged the chimney and now the fire place has been sealed shut.

So nice and clean, well cared for and plenty of space in the hut with a great sized fire place, long table and seating. Family of 5 and we will definitely be back!

This a delightful area. Lots of large trees and good camp sites. No chargeAbout 30 kms from beaufort. Also there is a hut there tob usedThe walks are fantasticNot suitable for caravansAlong this ridge line there are other hutsThese camp sites are basic with toilets but please bring waterThere is some water but not close to camp sitesI dont want too many people thereRegards

I hadn't intended on staying here, but took a wrong turn hiking and ended up setting up for the night and found it pretty pleasant. Decent sized hut for dealing with weather but no indoor fires permitted.Large central green for car camping but only with the one fire pit. Quite a few camp spots around the edges, most of them with their own fire pit, some with hotplate and billy holders,Male and female drop toilets nearby.

Quiet little clearing in the woods. The dirt road in was well maintained and would suiy 2wd. The campsite itself has plenty room for tents, but only about one or two parking spots where a camper, trailer or rooftopper would fit. We just stayed overnight, so can't comment on the walks.
