Riot Act is an extremely left wing neoliberal website, whose opinion pieces are treated as fact.Riot Act has no problem whatsoever with censoring people who they believe have engaged in so called wrong speak, and they are one of the many media outlets trying to encourage the average Canberran citizen to prioritize so called thought crime, over real crime like fraud, embezzlement and deception.Riot Act seems to revel in their role as apologist for Barr Cartel corruption.

Has improved over the last 12 months, with some good articles. Still tends to support the ACT government a bit too uncritically for my liking, but a useful local news source on balance.

Great site. Yes there are clearly lots of ads & paid promotions but they have lots of local stories & information & they allow strong debate & comment without censoring people's opinions.
