My wife Erica used Esther’s services for what was supposed to be the perfect cosplay wig in Melbourne. She was so excited because she believed that Esther could make her ideal princess Jasmine wig. I know my wife perfectly. She loves high quality things, that’s why she got so devastated when she received the wig. I myself was surprised with how it looked like. It didn’t look like the wig in the photos that she showed Esther. He didn’t even show the very final photos after he made the 1st revision.What was written on Esther’s FAQ’s doesn’t apply to my wife’s CUSTOM MADE wig at all. It’s understandable for custom made wigs, if you can’t get a refund when you decided you don’t want the colour. That wasn’t the issue at all. Esther also insisted that it also states in his FAQs that wigs may differ to what’s in the photo. Then again, my wife didn’t purchase any of his ready made wigs on his website. She requested for a CUSTOM MADE wig meaning the BUYER’s RESPONSIBILITY is to show the seller what he/she wants and the SELLER’s RESPONSIBILITY is to show the buyer photos of the wig process. It’s crazy how Esther just sent the wig straight away without sending the final photos after the first revision. There must be a confirmation from the buyer because it’s a custom made wig, then againIt angers me so much that we have had to resort to such measures to try to get Esther to do what’s right, which is to completely refund us and exchange the wig, what Esther so conveniently forgot to mention was that we had to take action with PayPal to get a refund on a second order that was not even started, because we were already not happy halfway through the experience on the Jasmin wig, Esther’s answer was I can’t refund you and only give you store credit, so Esther refused to do that and we won in favour on PayPal. The second dispute on PayPal was on the Jasmin wig, which did not match the photo provided in the beginning and further to this Esther blocked my wife after sending the wig because she knew that my wife was going to leave a bad review because it was not want she wanted.Now Esther mentions he was ready to give a refund but the condition was that we sent it first, after all the experience we had so far this was not an option as we do not trust this person at all, Esther tried to do this behind PayPal through direct email which we can prove. He lied on the second Paypal dispute about us not receiving the wig, it was not about receiving it, it was about the fact he did not do what was asked, some how he managed to warp what was the original dispute. After this, and after the COVID restrictions were eased, we offered to meet in person to exchange the wig for the refund, he ignored the email, once again we were forced to take action, he replied on Google reviews mentioning that we could still send the wig, again not an option, meeting in person ensures no one is wronged, why would he not accept this?The sad thing about all of this is that it could have been avoided if he was just honest in beginning that he could not make it like the photo.And Esther, reviewing your own business? really?Just make it right.

Esther blocked me on Facebook after she sent the poorly constructed wig and she obviously knew that I won’t be happy with it and that I would leave a bad review. After getting notified that my wig has been sent, I got blocked from their business page.I was looking for an expert wig stylist to create the Princess Jasmine wig on the photos that I have.My custom made wig request was really simple. I did mention in my order that I want it exactly the same. If he couldn’t do the exact same thing in the first place, why did he accept it right? It was obviously just a ‘MONEY GRAB’. When we began the project, I showed him photos of what it should have looked like. When he finished on March 13, he sent me photos and it looked nothing like what I had asked for. His response was that he liked to have creative control’. If that’s the case then he really shouldn’t have accepted the job.Further to this, I started the process of making another order because I thought I had found this amazing stylist in Melbourne. After looking at the photos he had sent me of the finished product, I saw that he did not listen and I decided that the smartest thing to do was to cancel the 2nd order that he hadn’t even started yet. He then said that he wouldn’t give the refund and that he could only give a store credit.Why the hell would I want store credit when he didn’t even listen to what I wanted? I had to go through PayPal to get a refund for an order that hadn’t even been created. At this point, I was absolutely fuming because this was supposed to be a 5-star business and there wasn’t an ounce of professionalism. There was no remorse and he didn’t want to make any effort to make things right until I opened up a case on PayPal.He even sent the wig after I requested the correction so I had no idea what it would look like till it arrived on my door, it was clear he just wanted to get his money and half arse the job. $368.00 essentially down the drain.Whilst I understand that his wigs are centered around drag queens, a simple ‘Sorry I will not be able to create exactly what you’re after’ would have been fine and we could’ve both walked away and no one would have been wronged, but instead you took my money when you knew you couldn’t do it. I saw your work online that’s why I trusted you, but even if you’re an experienced wig stylist, if a certain style isn’t in your expertise, you really shouldn’t have accepted it.I asked some even more well known wig stylists and they were honest from the beginning that their expertise is not making big cosplay wigs and I was fine with that. You should have done the same thing and have been simply professional.Attached are comparison photos of what I sent to her to create and what she was doing and final received photos.Erica Hanna

Not only are the products fantastic but I’m blown away by the customer service and care Styled by Esther provides. Any time I have a query or need to change an order, the response rate is super quick and always met with a kind, helpful response. Customer service and product quality go hand in hand and Styled by Esther have absolutely nailed it. 100/10.

I adore my 2 styled by Esther shake n go wigs - they have been instrumental in me upping my performance game, and my brown one is comfy enough and realistic enough to wear out. They're super easy to care for, and don't make my head hot. I *love* LOVE *love* them.

There isn't much I need to say about this buisness or its owners other then ' best customer service experience ever ' . As a Sydney / Melbourne drag queen that works full time in the industry and holds the accreditation of Miss Gay Australia 2020 , I fully endorse this buisness .Customer Service : Every email or messenger request is met with a friendly response and very timely . No question is ' to dumb ' (and boy do i ask alot of dumb questions ) .Quality styling : As a girl addicted to wigs i know what i like and styledbyesther comes through everytime . Being able to send an artist a picture and creatively they can copy it but also tweak it to make it its own entity is amazing .( honestly who wants a copied wig that someone else has worn . ) Most of my wigs i have had for over a year and they are all in full style . A bit of a spritz of hairspray and they are ready to go again and again ...Accessories : The amount of times i have needed to finish a look and not had the right spramp of glitter or sprig of rhinestones and styledbyesther has come through with ECO glitters ( which sparkle amazingly) or a quick turn around in sparkling up a root .At the end of the day it is very obvious that styledbyesther is a proffessional , talented and customer service driven buisness .
