Karuah River
Beautiful place that recovered well from the April storms a few years back. Depending on where you are, dolphins can be seen on occasion and harmless jellyfish bob along in the water in the warmer months. Longworth Park, which is on the river, is a NO DOGS area, but usually has many off leash dogs.

Nice little town to sight see and admire the old church made from timber. Atanas quiet and free from all the Hustle and bustle. Canoe by River named after the town name, is a very pleasant place to visit and port Stephens is just nearby.

Had an amazing Dolphin watch at this spot from a ferry. Highly recommended for everyone.

Nice road side stop on the way south. Good facilities. Very big with room for trucks,caravans and cars with trailers. During peak times there is a coffee truck with drinks and snacks. Well worth a look and relax and enjoy.

Nice park with plenty of seating and shaded areas. Seafood available right near the park so it makes for a awesome day or afternoon out

It's a nice river. It has water and I suppose it contains fish and stuff. How do you review a river. I only drove over a bridge and Google wants a review.

Love Karuah. Best Pizzas. Also saw a pod of dolphins. Good swimming area and bbq.
