I called the helpdesk number printed on the garage door motor and described the issue I was having. The consultant told me I needed to have a technician come and fix it, then gave me the name of a company. When the technician arrived, he hit the reset button and left, and then charged me $88. He was there for under 5 minutes. I dont understand why the helpdesk didn't suggest I reset the motor before referring me to a technician, isn't that what a helpdesk should do??

I was impressed with AT's service of their technical support team. I called them last week to inquire about the problem of remote control for my garage roller door. The gentleman Bill from their technical support was very professional and patient in helping me to go through tedious steps to fix the roller door which was jammed and not syn with the remote control. Finally we got it fixed after spent a fair amount of time. I appreciate Bill's efforts and responsiveness in this matter. I Recently bought property in QLD and relocated from Victoria to Qld almost 3 weeks before. Now my garage door is not working. I contacted the local installer(All coast Garage doors). The technician check and reported that need to change the motor and it will cost $660. I contacted Automatic technology and they report that the motor is still under warranty until 2027 . But according to their policy warranty is not transfer from one person to another person. So if you buy any product from Automatic technology please make sure this policy in your mind.

Customer service of this company is non existent, as a dealer with a account with them i can confirm it, warranty for parts that fail within 60 days absolute zero, try and make a warranty claim, no not interested but can sell you another one. don't consider this brand unless you want no backup and just tail light warranty as this is all they offer, zero communication when the word warranty is used.

Pretty poor customer service experience in recent days. Our fixed wall transmitter had a broken button and we reached out to Dave (who installed it) for advice on how to fix it. He responded quickly, but the only advice we were given was to look in the manual...not very helpful at all, particularly when there was no manual left when it was installed mid-2021. After a Google search we found it a manual, but the wall mounted instructions were not found in the manual for the model we have installed. Also disappointed in the manufacturing quality of the wall transmitter, given this needs to be repaired after only 6 - 7 months of use. No offer for repair under warranty either. Disappointed customer.

The customer service team was friendly, but our unit was only 6 months old when it malfunctioned and despite waiting weeks, it was not covered by any warranty (electrician confirmed faulty powerboard). Even tried to charge a callout fee to have it looked at.

Our business chooses to install Ata motors because we believe they are the best on the market, for both cost and longevity. I have seen some ATA motors last 30 years. We have had a roller door unit for 20 years on one of our sheds. Gets opened 5-10 times a week!
