Rose Bay Beach
The beach looks nice, but has two many smelly storm water drains. Look from afar, but not a good place for a swim, as there is definitely sewage mixed in the storm water drains. I swam anyways, the other knock on this beach is that it is shallow for a km out to sea.Just has nothing going for it besides providing a backdrop to some very expensive houses and restaurants and the nearby seaplane and ferry Wharf.For such a very rich area, I'm shocked they can't afford a water treatment plant.

Really nice white sandy beach with a gentle incline so great for families. There are stormwater outlets on the beach so some parts can be smelly.Canoe hire available on non-windy days.Close to shops for snacks etc.

Great environment to spend time with your furry friends! If you don't like dogs you it would be better to avoid this place as they have free roam, but if you do like dogs, this is doggy heaven! The water isn't exactly pristine as there is drainage there and on some parts of the beach there is a lot of debris so better watch your step. There are also toilets and outdoor cold showers available. Unless I missed it, would be perfect if there would also be a suitable place to give dogs a quick rinse down after they play in the saltwater.

Good swimming beach but only if you LOVE dogs. Prepare to be walked over by dogs as they run around you on the sand without leash. Will not come back! Such a shame as the beach is child friendly otherwise with calm water.

Absolutely one of the most beautiful beaches for walking relaxing having a picnic with your family. And just across the park is a beautiful cafe family Chocolate business called Perfection Chocolates that make the best hot chocolate and Mocha’s in the world. I have taken photos of the sunset it is absolutely beautiful. It’s also a dog walking beach and great for the weekend to bring the family down

Beautiful beach shared between people and dogs. Finding a close place to park the car can be a challenge. Also, given it is officially a beach for dogs only one bin hidden behind a small park is too few!
