Really great. Beautifully kept lawn with lots of seats & random logs. Proper size basketball court. One of the best playgrounds I've seen. Slide, climbing apparatus (rope & hand climbing) swings, slides, merry go round, see-saw. Water fountain, bins. Just really nice place

Armstrong Reserve Playground
Unofficially called Octopus Park for the big wooden octopus sculpture there, the whole playground and park area was revamped here early in 2020. The new facilities and wide open space - including basketball/netball court and covered seating - have attracted families from across Newport and Williamstown. Always very busy, every day of the week and especially when it's sunny. There is separate play equipment for a range of ages, and even a tandem swing for parents and bubs.

Absolutely amazing playground for children, multiple-choice suitable for ages. There is table undercover, it will be fantastic if add BBQ.
