Millwaters Retreat

lovely cottage with wonderful spa and huge comfy bed! we stayed over summer and swam in the river which is just at the entrance to the property. The cottage was very clean and the decor so original with all the cool vintage travel stuff, the air con was a blessing. Rachael and Steven were great hosts and the suggestion to byo lilos for the river was fab. It wasnt wood fire weather but we will come back again in winter to enjoy that. The horses in the paddock that the cottage overlooks were friendly and Warburton had some good cafes too! We'll be back!

Lovely little cottageFire Place, Spa Bath, Run Some hot water through the Spa Pump before hop in on a cold night/day, I know we filled the bath, lovely and hot turned on the pump and sucked out the warm water and blew in some cold water, needless to say wasn't the nicest bath!I would like some curtains in the kitchen area, I was there with my wife and needless to say there might be a bit more clothing on floorOverall loved the place and will be coming back for sure

Our stay at the second Millwaters Retreat cabin was absolutely fantastic, it is in such a fantastic location- close to all the attractions of Warburton and its surroundings, but distant enough that we still had the isolation and peace that we desired coming from the city.The owners and caretakers were fantastic in making sure our every need was taken care of but otherwise stayed hands off for the length of our stay, ensuring that the whole time it felt like our own private paradise.The cabin was well cleaned (even to my germaphobic partner's standards), the lounge and bed with all linens were fresh and lovely, and even the grounds were well maintained allowing for some pleasant time outside watching the neighbours' alpacas and horses.We'll definitely be back, we're already missing the fireplace and bathtub!

Cozy and charming cabins in an excellent location. The cabin we stayed in was decorated in an aeronautical and motorcycle theme - this was well-done and very interesting. The Millgrove/Warburton area is absolutely beautiful. Very clean accommodation with all the features you could desire. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay.

Well appointed and self contained, clean, and good communication.Peaceful, Beautiful tall trees, horses, lamas, rolling hills, kookaburras, cockatoos.I will return for sure.

Amazing place! Beautiful cottage surrounded by nature, quiet and comfortable. It has many little details that make your stay really special, and it's perfect for spending a weekend exploring the area. I hope to be back soon!

Amazing retreat, cosy cottage and perfect for a weekend getaway. Short drive to Warburton and beautiful scenery. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful retreat! Had the best weekend away, walking local trails and then coming home to relax in the huge spa bath! Rachael and Steven were great hosts and had the fire going for our arrival on request. Super comfy king bed and so close to the yarra. Looking forward to coming back.
