I bricked up a duplex for Ferntree homes in Gymea and at the end of the job my final invoice was not paid in full, despite the terms being agreed before I started the work, they refused to pay me in full for work that was completed, causing a loss of earnings of $2386.00 to my business. Additionally the brick cleaner they chose destroyed the mortar inbetween the bricks of the majority of the house, Ferntree homes decided that it was somehow my fault and that I should come back and fix it for free to get the money they didn't pay me for the work that has already been finished,despite the fact the supervisor had signed off that the work had been fully completed and that he was happy with it. I would strongly urge any tradies to not work for Ferntree homes and for any potential customers to reconsider. Ferntree homes are not builders, they get houses built by the different trades meaning any problems that arise that effect your ability to work you are expected to sort it out yourself free of charge.

The house sadly isn't owned by me anymore but was built by Fernteee and probably one of the first homes that they built. I loved the home and enjoyed my time in it until we sold in 2011. A great team and is still in the same condition as when we first got it. A first build by Fernteee homes in 1995 and never regret the decision. A great company and the best service always. John was steering the ship and I'm sure still doing the great job that he is capable of.

Ferntree Homes built my first home and it was great. They are family but regardless I would recommend.
