The guys get their fish from the markets every day. Always fresh. ... and very popular as evidenced by the number of people that always go back to get their fish there. I have never had a bad experience with these guys and will continue to take my business to them.

I was in the seafood industry for over 30 years, I’m no longer in seafood but know Daimien has the freshest best quality in the West, I now buy all of my seafood from there! Such friendly kind & helpful staff I can highly recommend this store for quality as well as great customer service, keep up the good work

Always fresh. Have shopped here for the last couple years. Never had an issue. Made the mistake of shopping at other places in Featherbrook but now I will only come back here. Also like that everything is clearly labelled with origin and if it is fresh or frozen. Some other places do not label and you need to ask.

Sorry to write this review, but I purchased fish from here after reading all the great reviews saying how fresh the fish is. I purchased a piece of barramundi and a piece of rockling after being assured by the lovely lady serving that it was indeed fresh that day. I am positive that it had been frozen, and I'd say multiple times, given how rubbery both pieces of fish were. I cook fish most weeks with fresh fish from the market, so I definitely know how to cook it. Perhaps this was a one-off time, but I would not buy from here again after this very disappointing experience.
