Ray has been really helpful sorting out the hurdles that these old post war homes present when renovating. Once the house was finished being raised it was good to be able to see that the project was now in capable hands when he took over. Waited weeks for a quote. And when the arranged time was organised no one turned up. Emailed and then got the response of “probably Monday”. Hopefully they don’t charge but the hour when you agree to the job.

Their motto says it all, done once done right!Ray and his team have done 3 jobs for us.Mostly recently they completed the raising of an old Queenslander and built in the lower level.As always their attention to detail was immaculate and the quality of their workmanship was excellent. The whole house was completed in just over 5 months.Ray and Luke also refurbished our old deck and built a fantastic upper floor deck on our 80 year old heritage listed house. The standard of their workmanship again was very high, right down to small details like making timber plugs for hiding screws and building hardwood stairs by hand. Ray built a very detailed criss-cross timber balustrade to an exacting design which looks amazing. My only concern in highly recommending them is that they’ll get too busy to come back and do the other projects I have in mind.

After doing a beautiful job on the renovation of our old Queenslander, we employed Ray again to built our carport, which was again professionally done in a timely manner, and exactly as per our requirements.Another great job!

I have used Ray Frankel and his team twice now and both times they have done a great job. Most recently he and his team removed two walls and built a kitchen and bathroom at my place at Lota which is a 99 year old building.
