Altona Dog Beach Parking
Great area for parking while taking your dog to the beach, there are dog showers on the way out so you can take away the dea water from your dog.

Huge improvement to the dog beach carpark!- excellent parking, plenty of shade and wonderful access to the beach!- and fresh water to wash your pup's before hopping back in the car!- Well done Council, Well done!

My dog loved this beach. She usually stays away from water and even barks at me when I get into water but she loved it here. She got into the water with the other dogs. Would really recommend.Make sure you put the dog back on lease when you get back. My dog ground a way to get around of the fence to the car park.

The Hobson Bay Council have outdone themselves with this set up. There is heaps of parking and 3 foot shower stations. Well done Altona.

Altona Dog Beach Parking
Dogs allowed off leash all day and all year.The beach comprises wide tidal flats and especially when the tide is out, there are huge expanses of shallow water and sand which dogs love to frolic in. There are facilities such as bins, water taps with bowls. The beach is well protected from the road and even if your dog runs off, it should be quite safe.The beach is next to the P A Burns Reserve which has large fenced dog off-leash areas.Copied from Melbourne Playgrounds website.

Perfect for dogs however the council has changed the set up of the beach. Not a big and open as it used to be but the little ones love it

Very great destination for our furry kids to mingle in a different setting besides a park.I love the community follows policy to maintain a safe for our furry babies! Great facilities
