Drinks are not badly priced during happy hours, but rest of the time it's pretty pricey. The food is where it really let itself down. It's bland, small portions and pricey. Won't be visiting anytime soon

Ok food but nothing amazing. Chicken burger nowhere near as good as other Richmond venues. Braised beef barely warm but tasted good. Enjoyed the live music on a Sunday evening.

Came here for my birthday sat in the bistro. Service was poor from the start it was clear they were short staffed. We ordered starters which were nice but the plates were never cleared and the mains came while the starters were still on the table. Then had to get up to ask for more cutlery and napkins as none was brought when asked leaving our food going cold. I had the porterhouse steak which was fine cooked to my desire but not overly tasty, peppercorn sauce was very concentrated and not creamy (but that’s personal preference). No one asked how our meals were, the mains plates were never cleared. Took 30 mins to flag someone down to ask for the bill and get the plates cleared while we finished our bottle of wine (chianti- very nice!!) Fortunately this was the manager, issues discussed and he did not seem to be bothered but did give 10% off the bill.The waitress that was serving us was either new or didn’t care, other tables around us didn’t have plates cleared and wrong drinks orders.Would return but for drinks only in the bar or laneway.

Had an event here and Zac is an absolute legend and pleasure to work with. Would recommend for anyone having a function of any size. Really good vibe throughout

Great place, loved the decor - very cosy and welcoming, not your typical pub setting. The meals were delicious and good sizes. The staff were very friendly but professional. We'll definitely be coming back, especially during those long winter evenings.

Came here on Tuesday steak night. $25 gets you a butchers cut steak, chips and salad and a drink (I chose the hazy IPA, fantastic choice on tap). All in all I was very satisfied, the only small complaint I have was I wished the steak was a thicker cut. I estimate it was about 250gm, cooked to my liking and the mushroom sauce had excellent texture and flavour.Loved the decor, the staff were professional and the food came out reasonably quick.

Greate vibe, welcoming staff and amazing interior design. It’s a piece of art. I personally enjoyed the way they put things together. The food is good but a bit pricy for the portion size.I really like the ginger beer on tap (you can’t find it everywhere).Definitely recommended and worth trying if you are in Richmond.

It was quite cold and chilly even indoors because the wind comes through the main door which is never shut.Croquettes were okay, not much meat inside despite the product description. Overall the venue is very aesthetic and nice to look at Nd the drinks are amazing. But the food, I can’t rate 5 stars without trying the Parma and the other dishes maybe next time.

Zero comfortable chairs, pretty much everything hard stools, except for the bistro. Really nice cocktails, attentive service. Fairly nice atmosphere, with the atrium in the middle and open fire place. Could do with some comfy lounge chairs, not everyone wants to sit on a wooden stool.

Had a Wagyu steak which was top notch. Service was good, food came out pretty quickly considering we had a large group of people. My only complaint about the food itself was that I couldn't swap out the chips for mash potato but understandable.
