Great coffee. I was lucky enough to get the place recommended to me before our trip to Healsville. The hours are not very tourist friendly but worth hitting the road a bit earlier to grab a cup.

If you are trying to find a decent spot for coffee in Healesville there is a couple of choices but this hands down is my favorite. Really nice vibe, great staff and even though it can get super busy I’ve never seen a barista consistently rip out 1st class coffee with such speed and precision. Nothing better than grabbing a coffee and toastie from here on the way to work.

Oh my god this coffee is amazing. full stop. It's amazing. The staff was great and helpful. The best part? They crank out amazing coffee like no other. Would highly recommend to my fellow tourist

Best coffee shop made for locals. My favourite place for a bs free experience! A grouse team who take the time to know their regular customers.The Mare does three things really well, coffee, customer service and promoting other small local businesses. If you’re looking for something else you’re in the wrong shop.

Love this coffee shop! It's our regular and in a town like Healesville where there are more cafes than hipsters, that says something. The staff are incredibly friendly and relateable, they're kind and always helpful and they make the coffee absolutely perfectly every single time to your exact directions. We always like our mocha's not too chocolate-y and extra hot (which seems impossible for cafes to make these days!) and it's perfect every single time. We are pretty picky and have never had a bad coffee there, and the yummy treats are good too. Highly recommend.
