Calibre Cleaning - House Cleaners Adelaide

We had some work done in the kitchen and with that came loads of gyprock dust thought the kitchen cupboards and on the windows. So we called Calibre Cleaning and they were straight on to it came when organised on time and as soon as Geet's team arrived they were straight to work 2 hours later the house was spotless carpets were steam cleaned and never looked brighter windows were great.Honestly if you need your house cleaned end of lease or regular clean done call these guys they are great.

My wife and I both have busy schedules and so we decided to hire Calibre Cleaning for the sake of convenience. This was unfortunately the wrong decision, as the cleaner was not even able to arrive within the one hour window they initially gave us and instead got to our house one hour after this ended.When we contacted Calibre to confirm when the cleaner would arrive and reiterate that we need to get to appointments/work commitments that we had arranged around their scheduled cleaning, they told us that we should have left them a key so they could come and go as needed, however I do not think it is an unreasonable expectation on our behalf to at least meet someone before issuing them a key to our home. My wife and I are both neurodivergent, and so we had made a point upon booking that we need to adhere to a schedule and establish a routine around the house cleaning.When the cleaner did finally arrive, they appeared to only have minimal cleaning supplies with them and they completed less than half of the jobs quoted to us for the $200 that we paid. The shower had not been cleaned, there were dirty footprints on the floor, smears and streaks on surfaces, and the bins had not been taken outside. We also paid for pet hair removal, but this had clearly not been done either. We feel this is unacceptable for a two hour clean at $100 per hour, and so we made the decision to cancel the service, which was initially meant to be ongoing on a weekly basis.Lastly, before leaving our home the cleaner asked us not to cancel the service, and that they will be assigned this job permanently if they can get us to reconsider our ongoing booking. This honestly felt like emotional blackmail and an unfair pressure to put on us. I found this to be highly unprofessional conduct.We were especially excited to have a professional cleaner help to free up some time for us, but in the end we have received additional stress and no value from this service. We are honestly disappointed and quite saddened by this whole experience.[EDIT] Furthermore, you can see below that Calibre has tried to discredit my criticism in their reply to this review by insinuateing that I am not a client, rather than taking adequate responsibility for their poor service. The booking was made under my wife's name, which I'm quite sure they are aware of.I would not recommend this service to anyone who values their time or expects an acceptable return for money spent.

I would not recommend this service at all. My husband and I were looking to invest in an ongoing weekly cleaner due to our busy schedules. We were quoted and charged $209, which from my understanding is a premium cost for a two bedroom apartment with no bathtub and a European laundry. We did not received our money's worth by any standard and were significantly inconvenienced as the cleaner arrived an hour after the allocated time frame we had booked.

Calibre Cleaning provided exceptional service for my move-out cleaning in Glenelg. They made the process stress-free, and the results were outstanding. The real estate was very fussy but the team went back immediately to rectify the issues and even coordinated directly with my landlord to get the keys for the reclean. Now I have already received my bond back. Thank you, Calibre Cleaning!

Took money before job was done without telling me. Cancelled steam clean last thing on weekend before Monday clean rendering it impossible to get anyone else in time to show place to potential tenants.In spite of being booked well in advance and informed it was an apartment building there was all manner of last minute drama over parking. We eventually agreed to carry their gear up to the apartment for them and to pay them for parking when they showed their receipt. Then there was the drama of the windows. I had specifically looked for someone who does windows only to then be told “we thought you meant the inside”. They eventually did them but there was a lot of drama along the way. I was also promised they would not use subcontractors and they clearly did. It would have been easier to clean the place myself.

Martin and the team from Calibre Cleaning were absolutely brilliant. We will be using them as our regular go to team for our house cleaning. Highly recommended. AAA+++
