Caryn's a lovely warm thoughtful lady, her consideration was appreciated by me very much. She added a unique and special touch to my Mothers funeral by making a beautiful floating Lotus Urn for our family to place into the water to send our Mother off in loving, serene and memorable way. I don't believe anyone is able to offer the services Caryn's offers and I recommend her to anyone seeking to have their loved one in considerate caring hands

From the first instance of meeting Caryn SBR over the telephone, I felt a personal and real warmth. This was backed up in person and throughout the entire proceedings and after-care. There were so many personal touches and kindness given that were incredibly comforting. I chose SBR because I wanted a sole trader, not a chain or franchise, a business that must invest in itself through their service provided. We certainly got that. Caryn moved mountains to get the extra finishes completed in time, that was impressive. Professional-she took charge of everything, literally and genuine personal care, above and beyond. It is was emotional time and I am so happy we got Caryn and Phil and their team. Caryn would have been Mum’s choice. That is for sure!

Our memories are all we have now, and we will never forget his farewell or the care and compassion we were shown throughout. What an AMAZING funeral parlour. SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL REMAINS.October '22, had a lovely Aboriginal lady pass away alone.S.B.R. took over straight away with finalising details. Looking for long lost family, corresponding with the police, the mortuary, court, Trustee and Guardian. Aboriginal society's to find her land animal.Nothing was left out and i was informed on every step that was taken. I felt at ease, the whole way thru.Then, 6 months later, SBR organised the beautiful aboriginal printed coffin, the hurst, catching up with the friends of the deceased to talk over day, the paperwork. Someone to do a poem, another to do the eulogy, another to say a few words.Smoking ceremony, a didgeridoo player. The church, the pastor to do the service, the order of service booklets, patterned and printed with my acceptance. Pallbearers. Everything was done. Then the day came. Everything fell in place. Caryn is genius.The lovely lady was cremated, privately. Ashes & death certificate handed back.I have never had to organise a funeral before.Something Beautiful Remains handled it all.Please, before you adventure anywhere else, ring Caryn or hubby Phil and talk to them. You'll even get a few YAPS from Izzy the dog.They will travel anywhere.And yes, red, yellow & black, i wore that day.SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL REMAINS, there is only two big words.THANK YOU.

We recently had to organise our baby son, Viliamu’s funeral. After searching and speaking with several funeral directors, we came across SBR.Phil was immediately extremely helpful and very sincere. He took over all of the details. Planning a funeral can be a really overwhelming thing but we were so glad Phil was on hand.He didn’t dismiss our cultural requests and was extremely accomodating. Our baby son was able to spend the night with us before his funeral and we are grateful Phil made it happen.It was forecast to storm on the day of Vili’s funeral but Phil assured us that “it doesn’t rain on the days of their funerals”He was right. It was nothing but Blue sky.Caryn was amazing too and was so very lovely. They even wore beautiful Indigenous designs in tribute of our son. They made sure all the little details were taken care of, including my important Wattle.We could not have asked for a better send off for our son & we will always be grateful to Phil & Caryn.We would recommend them to anyone.
