A great place to visit. But not developed for the people to explore. Parks Victoria has placed signs saying no access to the base of the falls but could see many tress passers underneath. Proper stairs and a chance for the visitors to explore the base could be a life changer for this place.

The good: Tables are available for a picnic. Short walk to the Falls lookout. (Stairs) Plenty of parking.The not so good: If there wasn't recent rain, not worth a visit. No wheelchair access to lookout. Public toilet not currently available. Walk down to the bottom of the Falls permanently closed.

Visited on our way to Macedon Ranges Autumn Festival - short walk the viewing platform, pathway to the bottom of the falls is currently closed. Great quick stop over, dog friendly too, no toilet facility.

What a waterfall. Possibly one of the largest and most magnificient in Victoria. So peaceful just watching the water gush down.

Such a beautiful place to visit. This water fall is not far from from melbourne. The drive is almost 1 hour, and fall is only 100 meter from the car part. While walking towards fall careful, because the path is really dangerous and need some extra care while walking on it. The scenery is really beautiful and worth watching.Must visit.

I am surprised when I see this waterfall ! I love what I see. But the only thing that I think how good it would be if this area was given improvements such as building stairs to go down. Not just make us easy to reach the water but also for our safety as well. But anyway, that just my opinion. Still love the views ❤️

Easy access to the viewing platform makes it perfect for small children and if yr adventurous you can scale the hillside and enjoy the waterfall from the bottom.

If you're a fan of everything basalt, you should not miss Trentham falls. The official path down to the base of the waterfall has closed. I can only imagine this fall would be even more impressive during the wet season.
