Lovely old theatre, with very nice staff. Highly recommended to check out if you're in the area. Always get excited seeing classic theatres still running!

Good old style theatre. Lots of character

Nice cinema in Lorne very friendly staff.

Old cinema of yesteryear. 2 shops either side of entrance the only change. Needs a mural on the side of the cinema. A repair of the old lights would bring it life. Artists could do wonders for it.

Amazing little theatre! The staff cook the popcorn fresh and and so genuine. The old-style set up makes for a different experience compared to an IMAX, Event or Hoyts cinema.

I’m SO glad cinemas like this are still around. The ‘old world charm’ is part of the character, but when we saw a new release movie here the buzzing and farting noises throughout were really distracting and no apology from the box office when we asked about it later. For a $20+ ticket sound issues should be sorted and might result in bigger crowds. I understand there are heritage listing concerns and major costs in keeping a place like this going but wouldn’t it be fab to see the old lady spruced up a bit? It could become, and deserves to be a wonderful popular attraction similar to the Sun Cinema in Yarraville.

An old fashioned cinema. The lamp needs replacing, films shown tend to be too dark. Otherwise not fussed about the uncomfortable seating. Goes with the terrain. Would possibly go more if they fixed the brightness.

Wonderful old world cinema. Great prices on tickets and HEAPS of seating. Seats are pretty comfy, you can take a purchased drink in too which is fun. Staff are lovely. I’mSure this place gets busy during the summer months.What better way to kill a couple of hours if the surf isn’t great.
