Great camping site with loads of interesting bush walks close by, but sadly, Ackle Bend and the neighbouring Horseshoe Bend camping ground, should now be called caravan parks - both are often filled with humongous caravans.Camping in the bush loses some of its magic when the view from your tent is rows of houses on wheels, complete with gazebos, Webers, solar panels and lounge chairs

Such an incredible place to stay- would HIGHLY recommend, especially in warmer weather when you can swim.

Lovely spot. Real shame about the trail bikes ripping up the walking tracks, and jet skis washing out the river banks this time. Hopefully Parks and Dimboola locals will put some signage up to discourage it.Make sure you pitch tents on high ground. The rain fills the little valleys quickly.

Very tranquil campground. Local walks are really nice. The toilets and firepits could do with a revamp. Lots of local wildlife.

Easiest access to Little Desert NP.Did a short loop walk. Nice and green along the river but dry sand walking across the dune: real desert experience.
