Ballarat Station
Though we did not spend much time here, we were utterly charmed by the 1880’s colonial architecture. Home to modern, well-stocked vending machines and adequate facilities. If you need to make a phone call, the pay phones are now free! A must see for anyone catching the train to Ballarat.

A beautiful and well run station, originally designed as for a capital city, (they thought it was going to be until Canberra was realised)Interesting architecture from 1880s provides eye catching angles and photogenic nooks

Ballarat Station
Beautiful ancient structure with an easy access to the station with a drop off area. Bus station located right outside the railway station which makes commuting very easy and convenient. Bricks, arches, wooden bridge and steel columns add a character to the whole place.

Ballarat Station
Great heritage railway building! Great 40 minute-ish frequency trains to the city. Really hope platform 2 would be accessible without going on the stairs to catch the train on a rush. Other than that, this station is really cool with a Cafe just beside platform 1.

The station is located in a very good spot just outside the main city area, has plentiful bus services and numerous amenities and other refreshments. The station has a very golden age type vibe.

Thats funny we only go to the station to use the loos for my wife. Open most of the time and handy.

Very pleasant and picturesque train station conveniently located near Sturt St and walking distance to the art gallery and museum. Very quaint platform cafe with good options.

This is a lovely old train station in ballarat just needs a bit of love ❤️ to restore it to it's former glory .
