Good for kids... This station is the headquarters of the Railway, with both operating and administrative facilities. Most Puffing Billy trains commence their journeys here. Visit the refreshment room for souvenirs, food and beverages. Our Locomotive Running Shed & Workshop is where storage, maintenance and restorations take place on the Puffing Billy family of locomotives. The Belgrave township is only a short walk away and has an abundance of shopping and dining options.

Great Museum with not just old trains but also old steam stationary engines feed off a central boiler. And yes there are trains some from the 1950s and dating back to the previous century also with histories as diverse as sugar mills and timber mills.
