I love the ramp to walk up and roll down adjacent to the down side. I don't know how to get the up up track platform though.

Whoopee dooo it's a train station. The gem is actually Maling Road for ye old style shopping strip. The retailers don't seem to be able to get themselves organised to market the place properly.

OK STATION ON THE BELGRAVE AND LILYDALE LINENothing special about this station. It is quite old, like many on this line.No retail or other facilities on site.Easy access for people with mobility issues.The station is quite close to Maling Road - a nice oldy worldy" part of Melbourne with interesting shops."

A unique local station that was rebuilt as a high-level station as part of what would be some of the last ever grade separation projects done by VR in the late 60s. The island platform is rather narrow at the 'city' end, as such I wouldn't recommend standing there, especially at peak hour when the majority of trains pass the station at speed.

Update: recently parking has become worse. Went There by 8.30. Barely any parking left...Parking is not bad. Went there after 8.30 on Thursday and still half of the park lot empty

A well kept station located in one of the most beautiful suburbs of Melbourne. Well worth taking a short train trip and getting off to explore the local surrounds, especially in Autumn. Many homes have stunning gardens which can be viewed from the street. Rochester Road is one of the best and full of inspiration for keen gardeners.

Canterbury Station appears to be particularly safe and the streets, buildings and artwork are aesthetically pleasing from my perspective.
