Nice station, serviced by HCMTS and V/Line. Myki gate arrangement is kind of weird since you have to tap off then on to change trains but not too bad. Services Monash Uni and has trams/buses. Pretty nice.

Very convenient location for any students studying at Monash Caulfield since the university is located right opposite the train station.

Pretty alright interchange station in Melbourne's south east suburbs. Served by metropolitan trains to Pakenham, Cranbourne and Frankston, as well as regional trains to Gippsland. Right next to the Caulfield Racecourse, which is handy for races and special events. Connecting public transport includes a multitude of buses and the Route 3/3a tram to East Malvern and Melbourne University.

This recently upgraded station is in a good location near quite a few cafes and even Coles supermarket nearby but if in a hurry the little cafe at the end of the ramps is good value, I mean where else can you grab a coffee while on the run for just $2.50 and Egg & Bacon for only $3.50? Another feature of Caulfield Railway Station is the free secure bike storage provided which you can see in the photos.

Not a bad station over all, good location as it connects the Frankson, Pakenham and Cranbourne lines and you've got Monash University there right out front, lots of shops nearby if youre hungry as well, plenty of worse stations in Melbourne than Caulfield.

Lovely old station. Always clean, plenty of seating. Could definitely do with some security patrols at night. Not a lot of lighting once you're out of the station and knowing security is on hand would certainly make the wait at night more comfortable.

I just called to the station 29/05/2023 at 11:30 because bus was 50 minutes late and the attendant and his supervisor were very very rude !!!!
