Malvern station is usually well-lit and safe as security guards patrol the station at night.There needs to be better lighting in the walkway from the main road to the southern platform entrance, because it is dark and super-spooky.

Nice place. Theres currently some road work going on so might want to plan your route accordingly if your passing by the train station.

Even though it's old, this railway station is fairly clean with good eating and shelter. However, the main negative the Malvern railway station is that it doesn't have any toilets! The other thing is that while there are some vending machines on the platforms, a kiosk serving coffee and snacks would be handy.This railway station was built around the First World War which is easy to see from the style and architecture, for example the buildings are constructed out of red brick with render banding, and stucco walls, cantilever verandas, ornately shaped parapets and arched openings.

Dropped my wallet here one time, staff handed it in to lost property at Caulfield station and called me and it still had all its stuff in it. Pretty great

Old style train station, like many others around. Relatively clean. The toilet is locked up during Sunday day time.

Sitting on a silent train, surrounded by silent people (on their mobiles) and the staff member on the platform sang a beautiful You are my sunshine " verse while passengers boarded. Thank you lovely lady for bringing sunshine onto the train. Have a beautiful day too"
