Fast and efficient service to get you across the river. Current rate $15 bicycle/motorbike, $25 car/4wd, $35 campervan/caravan/motorhome.

A great part of Tassie to explore.The ferry is only capable of carrying 2 small cars or 1 car and a caravan at a time.There can be a queue to use the ferry in peak season and a wait up to an hour is possible.There is a picture of the fares attached

The only way to get your car across the Pieman river. It’s possible to circumnavigate the river itself, however this adds over 100km to the journey. For $25, it’s a small price to pay. The service was quick and you’re across the river in 5 minutes.
