Station Master Phil keeps the station clean and tidy, gardens beautiful and splashes paint about where necessary. Local school artwork on display at side of lift tower, when there was graffiti it was remived immediately. Lovely country feel and only one like it on Brisbane line. Congrats QRail for great station and to Phil for showing pride in your work.

Glass House Mountains station
Ticket office is only open in the morning. Platforms can be confusing as sometimes the northbound train stops at platform 1, other times is stops at 2. Seen many tourists miss their trains due to this.

I took my two young grandsons for a look and introduction to train spottingIt’s a lovely old stationGreeted by a very friendly, happy and helpful station master. He offered help or information to all that arrived on the platform.Such a wonderful and unexpected experienceGenuine country service not found often these days

I think i still have a map saved in my phone of the glasshouse mountains area and travelling by train could provide the goodlife if the need be and today the stop here was amazing I was bouncey - I was happy!" i was looking on the net at camping sites the air was fresh and what more do i need.... a job! i clearly touched up my resume while i was here today.I have the right to freedom and to be free in this country Australia as a woman and I see these train stations as more than a destinationand yes if I can free myself up a bit
