Salsa Republic

Sherylanne choreographed a dance for my wedding which was an absolute highlight experience. Not only did my husband and I thoroughly enjoy the challenge of learning a new routine over series of lessons with Sherylanne in the lead up to our big day, our guests were wowed by our performance (particularly on my husband's part, as they had no idea he could dance). Sherylanne was an absolute professional throughout. I would recommend her to anyone, no matter what skill level, who is looking to learn a wedding dance routine (or who is looking to take up salsa - my husband and I also enjoyed some group salsa lessons earlier in the piece). Thank you Sherylanne for contributing so positively to our special day - we loved dealing with you and learning/performing our routine.

I joined Salsa Republic in early 2017 and has been one of the best experiences of my life. I have learnt Charleston, Cha Burlesque, Cha Cha, Salsa and Samba. I have been fortunate enough to perform in numerous places I never dreamed of and have made some wonderful lifelong friends. Sherylanne is an amazing teacher and mentor and is always encouraging and supportive. I can't recommend it enough :)

We asked Salsa Republic to faciliate a samba class for 10 women at a baby shower. It was a lot of fun. We learnt a whole choreography in an hour and Sherylanne, the fabulous teacher, even filmed it for us at the end to keep as a souvenir. Sherylanne is great at making everyone feel comfortable and safe, she is relaxed and has a cheerful energy. She explains things simply and it is easy to follow her instructions whilst having fun. Sherylanne is an amazing teacher!My husband and I booked Sherylanne for private wedding lessons to learn bachata for our wedding. She made us feel so comfortable and was very encouraging and patient. I provided her with the song we wanted and she created choreography based around our comfort zones.We received such wonderful compliments from our wedding guests.I am now signed up to one of her classes :)

Sherylanne is a magical teacher. We had private lessons with her. She choreographed a great routine for us, pushed us in terms of exceeding our expectations with our abilities and everyone who saw the routine loved it. She is very committed and will spend significant time in helping you improve.

My wife and I took a wedding dance class with Sherylanne and it was an amazing and fun experience. Even though it was our first time learning to dance, Sherylanne was always very patient and overflowing with positive energy. Love my Salsa Republic family! This is a dance school that has a wonderful close knit feel. Sherylanne is a great teacher, the classes are so fun and amazing excercise. I always look forward to my samba classes, can't imagine my week without it!
