I have painted my two boxes because UV can make PVC brittleover time.More importantly, I have drilled a small hole in the centre of thealuminium bases so fluids from the birds can drain away.John's boxes are very well made and won't rot like others..Very happy with purchase.

John is absolute legend of a bloke. His products are fantastic and strong. But beside the amazing quality of his products, John is just a bloody good bloke. He called me after the product arrived just to make sure that it got here and that it wasn't damaged in transit. Absolutely fantastic!!John got me out of a pickle with my Lutino Galahs - from time of order, I had a phone call 1 hour later to confirm details on a Sunday of the long weekend - posted (packaged extremely well) and delivered by Friday to Muswellbrook!!Amazing genuine guy who really cares about the birds and is also a fantastic product!!!No more holes in my wooden nest boxes for these babies!
