Shocking place to work the boss is a narcissist the residents don’t go on outings that often they have been given a bedtime curfew and they eat quiche 3 times a week and they don’t get a choice it’s made for them by staff it’s a very very sad place as the residents are stuck inside all day everyday there is no choice or dignity no1 rule for age care commission dignity and choice

The residents are great - management is very very poor, I would not recommend living or working here.

Beautiful facility but the work culture is the worst, you are left to work and learn as you go on your own, majority of staff are racists, no stability in management. There are more times spend on staff meetings rather than staff training development! It doesn’t matter how long you are working for the same industry, this company will not recognise your service!

A beautiful looking hell .!!!My 89 year old mother was sitting in the communal area of the dementia section. Mum never screamed or cried.She was screaming in pain one day, as the staff continued to walked past her, ignoring her loud cries of pain.My sisters came in and heard screaming from the front door. As they got closer to Mum's ward, they realised it was her sceaming.They rushed to Mum and inspected her, looking for the cause of her distress.Mum's arm was jammed in the rim of the padded reclining chair she was in.I say, mum was too weak to get her arm into the rim of that chair at all !!!.My sister pulled mum's arm out to discover that she was covered in ants!!!!Mum would have had a heart attack, as they were walking straight past her, ignoring her screams for help, and she was in a great deal of stress and pain.Mum was very strong with a high pain tolerance.Mum never cried and she never screamed.You would think mum's odd behaviour would get attention by the nursing staff, but instead they completely ignored her.Mum was in the middle of the room, stuck in her chair screaming with pain !There was food shoved down that chair rim, which attracted the ants.Then, somehow, my mother's arm was also shoved in there. Mum was too weak to pull her own arm out. Just as she was too weak to get it stuck in there, in the first place ..So there mum stayed, as the ants crept up her side, around her back and down her right arm, and began to eat her alive.My sisters rushed mum to her room and threw her under the shower. That's when they discovered the ants wer down her back and side as well .The nurses and the head nurse had no sense of empathy. they were completely apathetic and dismissive about my mum's injuries, redness and pain, until my sister showed them photos of the areas affected. My sister took the photos before the so-called nursing staff even went in to Mum's room to even see how she was.So all that time, staff didn't react or go to help my sisters, help Mum..Why is that?Staff eventually did come into the room, only after my sisters showered the ants off and photographed her.Staff tried to rub friggin Sorbolene onto mum's wounds, FFS, but my sister had a better cream with a steroid painkiller in her handbag, which helped to take away the pain and redness.Mum was a strong woman with a strong constitution. A retired police officer. Never cried, never complained.In the 6 years mum was there, only one strong manager ran that place like a tight ship, with very high standards when it first opened.Gaynor is her name, and she had a little dog with her.After Gaynor left, that place went to absolute hell, and the poor residents had to suffer those consequences.In the middle of winter, Mum's bedroom window was left wide open with only a sheet covering her.My sister whom is a detective, visited mum whilst on night shift. She walked in, to find mum shivering, with the air so cold she could see Mum's breath when exhaling.I strongly believe they were trying to finish my mother off, because she was one of the first residence there, was there for nearly 6 years and became more dependant due to her deterioration with Alzheimer's .Obviously a burden to them. This is why we were there on a daily basis,.. every single day, to make sure Mum was fed properly.We did not trust that staff..... except for an outstanding two or three nurses. That's it.Do not trust the staff with your treasured family member in this place.. if you do, for goodness sake, get a camera in the bedroom and watch them day and night.!!!

Beautiful facility, the food served is pretty good too. Lovely residents. From the day it opened it had Poor Management. The other reviews are very accurate. Worked along side some wonderful mistreated staff. Manager even fraudulently signed documents for someone else. Dodgey as they come
