Awesome crew of incredibly cool humans. I cannot recommend JJ Barbers enough. They are awesome for getting toddlers and children used to cutting their hair as well. My child has sensory issues with his hair, but has never had a problem with a cut with the boys.

Jodie is the most experienced and well-skilled professional I have been to. And, now, he has shown his excellent customer services skills too. The shop is in the middle of a hub of activity. The interior is done so well. The staff are very courteous especially the two Baileys. Highly recommended.

Amazing!!… He’s fading, and his blends are phenomenal… Anything you throw at him he does with perfection… I cannot recommend Jodi and the team highly enough… Thanks boys

I came to Brisbane almost a year ago, unfortunately I couldn’t drag my barber here across three continents, so naturally my task was to find a decent stylist (who doesn’t charge 70 dollars for a little trim). Admittedly that was tough.I spent the first few weeks visiting different barbers and getting told various prices from 30 to 70 dollars (depending on how foreign I sounded that day) to get my sides cut. I’m not an unfaithful guy, but I had to cheat on my barber one Monday morning and I still don’t have the guts to message him that I spent nearly 70 dollars for the privilege.Anyway, by pure luck I happened to walk into JJ’s and things immediately changed for the better. Suddenly it felt ok to cheat on my barber, because even he would have understood that these guys are the real deal. JJ, AJ, Ben and the boys treated me like a regular from the get go, even offering me a set price for every time I visit and refreshments too.If you’re in a similar position and you find yourself in need, please try these gents out, you don’t need a booking and they’ll have you feeling handsome (and for a great price).Hell, you’ll leave with your hair trimmed nice, a free beverage in your system, they’re even offering free nostril hair removal and you won’t need a second job to afford regular visits.Thank you guys for everything, leaving this review was the least I could do.From a grateful customer.

For me the best place to have yours hair cut in Brisbane. This was my second visit, during the first visit i was a bit nervous as it was going to be my 1st haircut in Australia, but AJ made sure that I was very comfortable by engaging me into a good conversation. So was the second visit, this time I had a good conversation with Ben. I need not say much about their hair cutting skills, you can come and experience yourself, but I would say, for me one of the best haircuts I had in my life.

My high school aged son went here last week for a new haircut ( restyle ) and they did the most amazing job ! They really listened to what he was after and he just loves it. Seriously the best haircut he’s ever had, great fade job and precise lines. He’ll be a return customer for life I know . Not sure of the barbers name who cut his hair but to the barber with the shaved noggin , brilliant job bro , thank you !

Unfortunately, I knew this lovely barbershop last year 2022! It has a strategic location in the West End. I always come to cut my hair with Jodie. He is friendly and a professional barber with his long experience over the past 30 years. When it comes to the hair cut’s suggestions, Jodie is helpful and clever. Have been getting hair cuts from Jodie since 2006 glad to see him venture into his own shop. Won’t get cut by any other barber ever.Even my boys won’t go elsewhere.
