Had the pleasuring of having my 30th birthday party at the Orion Hotel. We rented out the sports bar and some of the sports deck. What a great space. All our guest had an amazing time. Great staff and a great vibe at the hotel. On the night Good Vibes were playing on the stage. My guest were all up and dancing from when they started at 6! Thanks Orion for making my 30th a night to remember.

One of staff from the bar yelled me and she treated me as I was drunken person even I wasn’t. Usually the service was fine at the day time. I totally understand it’s busy and lots of drunken people at the bars at night time but the staff doesn’t have to treat the random customers as awful. Well.. it’sonly one club in this area and the staffs can be rude to the customers if she doesn’t wanna be busy at night? Or she can use her power as she said she is a manager. The security guys and the mans staff were friendly and nice they tried to me get refund money as I asked. I had an awful experience last night and hopefully the staffs will be training the customer service before they yelled to the customers.

The pub is great, but the food is very poor, the food is highly priced for what you get (rubbish).. You get slaw instead of salad that is dry, you may as well eat cabbage.. steak over cooked, the prawn topper was disgusting, garlic bread burnt, steak sandwich was bad, you can get a better burger from McDonald's and that's saying something!!!! I would have rated less then one star but you can't!!!!! Very disappointing...

The food was great. A lot better than when I was there a couple of years ago. The Thai Beef Salad and fries were delicious. Atmosphere is good with plenty of room inside. Staff were welcoming and friendly.

Probably should have checked the google reviews on this place. Everyone at the table was fairly put off from the staff. Quite short and rude “snarky” when placing orders. Pretty much every meal came out cold. Some sent back and have forgotten to come back after 30mins. The coleslaw was old. The steaks on the menu weren’t available till next week. Over priced and the food was fair at best. These pics are some of the meals we’ve ditched.

The service from the staff comes with no complaints. Friendly and helpful. The food on the other hand. Definitely needs improvements. The cooks needs to taste their own food and check the coleslaw before serving it up onto plates.This place is great for a beer or 3 with an after work drinks environment.The food is — Typical pub grub which was pretty nasty but if you’ve had a few you wouldn’t know any different.Would rush to visit again.

We visited again 24th September to give the pub another chance. And we were not disappointed this time. The feed was really good and we didn't have to wait long for it. Staff were really friendly and happy. I'll add photos of our meals. Only one thing was the floors were very sticky all through the place.50 minutes for adults meals to come out kids meals came out 20mins apart (3 kids) will never come back here and would not recommend to anyone. And when kids meals come with veggies this is not what kids expect. Where are the potatoes carrots and pumpkin. What a wast of $85.Edited to addThat the floor was filthy with something oily spilled all over it they didn't send out someone with a mop rather someone with tea towels. And also the bench seats where the kids sat was full of pens pencils crayons and food.
