English Club has taught me throughout my whole high-school life, providing me with incredible staff, facilities and resources to excel in my course with flying marks! Norma's passion for teaching radiates in her classes which makes them engaging and comforting to be a part of. She goes through all the texts in great detail to make sure everyone in class understands the texts and course thoroughly. She discusses ideas/themes which help me brainstorm my own perspective and express it perfectly through my writing. Norma provides perfect feedback on my essays and creatives to always keep me on the right track. While being praised for strong paragraphs and metaphors, she continues to dig deep for the best resources to help me extend my knowledge and improve my writing in class. It has been an amazing 6 years experience with English Club and received professional support from both Norma and Ed throughout the intensive HSC.

Highly recommend the quality tutoring service provided by English Club. I have attended for 4 years and believe my marks would not have been as great without Ms Norma. Critiques and feedback are abundant.

I attended the English Club for over three years and have enjoyed every moment of it.Ms Norma and Ed have gone above and beyond to create lessons that are challenging and engaging, editing their students' essays and creatives last minute and giving them valuable advice going into exams and assessments.They have been extremely supportive and dedicated to helping their students achieve their maximum potential. English Club is a welcoming and caring environment. All the staffs are kind, caring and highly trained. For the last 4 years, my results have boosted up like nothing before. English Club probably one of the best English tutoring centres in Sydney.

I've studied at the english club since my junior days when it was a small centre in their home, and i watch it grow to the big successful tutoring centre that is now. While the size of the centre grew, it still maintained the homely, safe and friendly environment which all the students love.The classes are kept small, allowing the teacher to really help each student individually and tailor it to meet the individual needs. Each week the class content was always relevant to our studies and no lesson ever felt irrelevant! Norma always made sure she put our needs first, whether we need help with inspirational creative story ideas, or practice questions, she went above and beyond to make sure we had the best material for our success.I honestly cannot imagine how i could have went through my HSC English course without the English Club. The feedback I got back from my work was always detailed and Norma always made sure that my work was perfect and ready for my exams. I remember a friend of mine sent her an essay the night before it was due and Norma stayed up helping her get it ready for her exam which she did amazing in!!! Thats the level of love and quality that you get with the English Club!!Norma and her husband and genuinely the nicest, and most supportive people i have ever met!! They always take time out to ask students how their studies have been going and if they need any extra help. The love and care they have for every single student is remarkable, not to mention to environment is perfect for studying in. They always made us feel welcomed, even pulled tables and chairs for students to sit and study when they weren't in classes.I 100% would recommend this place for anyone who wants further help in English, you'll meet amazing people in your classes that challenge each other intellectually and you'll love it just as much as everyone else does :)

English Club is a great tutoring centre, both the teacher and staff are kind and very helpful, and considerate of everyone and their educational needs. I have been attending for six years and Mrs Norma has never failed to help me and most importantly raise my grades. Would definitely recommend to those looking for a tutor.

The teaching at English Club by Ms Norma was very informative, adding a lot of depth to our understanding of the course. Ms Norma was also encouraging and very motivating throughout the HSC, always looking out for us even beyond academia. Her humour and enthusiasm really made class a lot of fun and I have truely enjoyed my high school time here.

First and foremost, amazing teacher! Great facilities and polite staff. I've been taught by Ms Norma for longer than my high school life since 2009. One of the most talented and unique teachers I've ever had. Helped me throughout my high school life until the day I finished my HSC. You'll have a great experience here as I had one of the best learning experiences of my life here.

I have studied with the English Club since my junior years at High School. In my opinion, Ms Norma's teaching style far exceeds any other English tutor I have experienced. She was engaging and guided me through the texts in a way that allowed me to formulate my own ideas and opinions. Furthermore, she structures her lessons in a way that was easy to follow. I don't think I could have achieved my excellent results without the help of Ms Norma!

Highly recommend English Club to any student who has a genuine determination to excel in English and is willing to put in the work to achieve it! I have attended English Club for a few years and Norma has guided me every step of the way; from an International student who only just came to Australia, not keeping up with the standard of Australian students, to getting in one of the best selective schools in NSW in just over a year, and lastly to gaining a band 6 in external HSC English. Norma has always been supportive and friendly both in class, as well as outside classroom, nonetheless she would also maintain professionalism and not tolerate any inappropriate behaviours from students who disrupt others learning experience. Overall, high quality teaching, friendly environment and rewarding experience!
