Cessnock Vintage Motor Inn
Stayed here for a couple of days for a Hunter Valley weekend and was great for what I needed. Rooms were clean and renovated, the location was 15mins from the best of the Hunter Valley and the staff were friendly, allowing us to check in early.Only downside is that the rooms are not super soundproof to the front and a bunch of yelling one night which sounded like they were in the room. Not the fault of the motel, but marred the experience slightly.

Have been staying here for years and have always found the rooms to be very comfortable. However after our stay last weekend (Friday and Saturday nights) we were very disappointed. When we booked we were quoted $250 for the 2 nights only to be told it had gone up to $300 when we arrived. We were a group and booked 8 rooms in total and everyone's room price was more on check in than we had been quoted. To top this off not only did we have to pay extra our rooms weren't serviced.... it would have been nice to have atleast been able to make a coffee on Sunday morning!!!!!!

Cessnock Vintage Motor Inn
Stayed here briefly as we had been to the Hunter valley air show and had an appointment at John hunter for our son at 9am the next day. Perfect location for ease of getting to/from each location. Basic room but very clean. It's all you need to get your head down at the end of the night. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. They had thought ahead and made it so we had adjoining rooms so we could make one big room essentially for the family. Thanks so much for thinking to do that!

Cessnock Vintage Motor Inn
My friend and I stayed at the Vintage Motor Inn for the weekend. Upon arrival we were greeted by the owners which were super friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed a very spacious, clean and industrial modern like room suited for 2 people.The owners are completing renovations to modernise and upscale their business. I look forward to seeing the completed product when I visit next. Would highly recommend this business!

We stayed here over the long weekend & were overwhelmed with how hospitable the staff were, in particular Anthony the owner. He went over & above to ensure you had an enjoyable & comfortable stay. The beds were extremely comfortable, the room was clean & overall the motel is good value. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Service and hospitality offered by Ellie & Anthony (management team) was AMAZING. We booked as a large group and we all thoroughly enjoyed the on-site facilities, including, pool, picnic table with shelter. Anthony, Ellie and family are busy making these facilities even better for future guests, of which we will certainly be back!Beds ✅Cleanliness ✅Onsite facilities - Excellent.Service - Faultless.

Great value , clean rooms and staff were lovely. No this is not the flashiest modern hotel but its cheap and clean and i prefer spending my time out of the room, rather than in, when on holiday. Staff went out of their way to help mend a gap in my dress before i had to go to a wedding and recommended good local eats. Owners are new as of 6 months and are aware that bathroom and decor need a refresh and motivated and positive to improve the place little by little. Plus there is a pool!
