High Country Trail Rides and Farm Stay

A great place for a family getaway! We were staying there for a couple of nights and also got an opportunity to enjoy the horse riding and a farm tour. Pauline, Kris, Mick, Bella and Bear (the dog) went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. The cottage was nice and clean with lots of blankets and a wood heater.

Amazing, wonderful and memorable experience of the farm safari and animal feeding. The staff are super friendly to introduce us all the lovely animals. Will definitely come back for the farm stay in the future.

What a lovely weekend we had here at High Country Trails Rides and Farm Stay. It was a surprise weekend for our anniversary. We were met by Pauline super lovely host. Went on the 1.5 hour horse ride which was fantastic thru the pine forest there was only 3 of us Pauline, my wife and myself was like having a ride with old mates great ride great horses. Did farm safari awesome to meet all the animals. The 2 bedroom cottage was very neat and tidy and had everything we needed including plenty of firewood. Overall had awesome time and definitely will be back and recommend to anyone who wants an authentic farm stay.Cheers Steve and Cheree.

One of the best holiday of our life.Enjoyed the friendly farm animals like horses, cows, chickens, alpacas, goats, sheep. And there is a dog called ‘Bear’ and a pig that followed us everywhere. The Pig thinks itself a Farm Dog and behaves like a Dog. It’s so amazing!Accommodation was very clean and comfortable. The cabin was more than big enough for three of us. Reasonable two bedrooms, clean bathroom & toilet and fully functioning Kitchen. There was a BBQ at the backyard and beautiful little Log Fireplace in the living room.We had a great day exploring the farm. After many many years I enjoyed the sunrise in the foggy morning. Unfortunately we could not do Horse Riding because of my 8 year old girl had fallen from horse at different hose riding place a week before. We will definitely go back and enjoy this beautiful Family Farm again and the wonderful hospitality of Pauline & Family and her beautiful animals. Strongly recommend to everyone!

This place is truly amazing. We have been a couple of times now (and are booked in to go again!) and Pauline has always made us feel welcome. She always goes above and beyond and clearly loves her gorgeous animals. The accommodation is clean, warm and comfortable - we really couldn't recommend it more highly (we've been with young kids and elderly parents and all were happy). Thank you so much

Definitely worth the trip out here lovely owner and host. Plenty to see and do. A great location and amazing scenery. Trail rides are nice and very scenic suitable for all riders. Friendly dog Bear and pig Peppa. All animals are well cared for. Great spot for any animal lovers or someone looking to wind down. Exceed my expectations and high regard to the owner. This place was amazing. Went with group of friends to do horse ride and buggy ride. Highly recommended if you enjoy country side and animal lovers. Great hospitality was a bonus.

Wonderful place to visit with lots of different animals. We are happy to stay there for 2 nights and enjoyed it a lot. Very happy to meet owner Pauline and had her taking us to horse riding and farm tour. She is very kind that she rescued different animals and help them grow in the farm. Highly recommend. It is not only for kids, we and my parents also enjoyed it a lot. (Fireplace at night and gorgeous star night is a plus :D )

We spent two nights at the farm and we truly enjoyed our stay! The accommodation was tidy and clean. My daughter loved the interaction with the many animals at the farm. Our host Pauline went above and beyond to make this stay memorable for the entire family. Highly recommended!
