Ordered a rebuild kit for our Volvo Penta fresh water pump on Monday told we where late for a Tuesday delivery but should be in by Wednesday and at the time I found Karen to be a wonderful person to talk to, very helpful...But when called back on Wednesday first was laughed at and told it was coming from overseas so why would I think it would be there. Then once mistake sorted was told it was at the Richardson delivery centre and they don't know if it would be delivered today, ok but then was laughed at when we said with the wind and weather up we really need to be able to move our 53ft trimaran if emergency could someone pick it up for us because when I asked if we could possibly pick it up from there again laughed at.Being a family that lives on board and swing on anchor our lives rely on being able to take cover and get out of a bad situation to keep our children and our home safe we are not rich so a marina is out of the question.Made me angry but also sad.Got part finally on Thursday around 3pm. Got the chance to fit it Friday and shaft was longer than old part hopefully it will still work.

They did a great job servicing my Volvo engines. The price was fair and they were very thorough

The owner of this business is so ridiculously rude that i believed him to be worthy of a review. Am not sure whether to give him five stars for how rude he was or one star for the level of customer service. I would encourage all prospective clients to look elsewhere.

Bruce and Sam are trustworthy and knowledgeable mechanics. Karen knows the parts side backwards. I've also really appreciated they notice and report on things outside their immediate scope of work. Riviera 3000 with twin Volvo Penta TAMD41P shaft drive diesels.

I can only highly recommended Moore Marine as their service was very friendly and the Volvo Penta oil and filter was at a more than reasonable price. In fact it was nearly half the price per 5 L oil than what the local Marina Diesel guy quoted me. Happy to recommend Moore Marine.

I have used Moore marine for general servicing of all my yachts for the last 10+ years and have been very happy with their service.I waited to do this review as 12 months ago I had two new Volvo D2-40 Diesel engines install by Moore Marine and wanted to give some time to see how they performed and how the quality of the installation held up under regular use.We live aboard our 42’ blue water cruising catamaran and we use her more than most and have been extremely happy with the quality of the installation and performance of the new engines.Bruce Moore did the installation and was great at giving different options. As we are heading off around the world we requested Bruce to replace all hoses and connectors and was pleasantly surprised when he removed all the bronze fittings on our grecco water strainers and polished them back to new.I can not recommend Moore Marine enough they have very high standards, know their products and provide great advice on how to optimise your engine installation. I also like the time they take to explain to those of us, like me, who are less confident in basic engine maintenance how to keep your engine in top condition.Five stars all the way thanks Bruce as we head off I am confident in our power plant.Thank you.Glen

Bruce and and his son Sam Moore replaced the Yanmar SD50 saildrives on my Leopard 46 catamaran with new SD60’s.I booked in the service a few weeks before hauling out and they did the work in a very professional way and without any delays. After launching they rang me the next day to check everthing was working.Moore Marine are knowledgeable, courteous, efficient and friendly and I have no hestitation in recommending them for your mechanical boating repairs.

The Best Experience! We had Bruce and the team from Moore Marine repower our 42' foot sailing cat with some new Yanmar engines at Boatworks recently. Amazing service, communication, quality workmanship and knowledge. Bruce juggled his busy schedule to get our job completed as engines were delayed coming out of customs in Melbourne and prioritised our job to get us back on the water.
