One of the best cafes I've ever been to. Wonderful atmosphere, the owner is really friendly and interesting, food is delicious. The pumpkin soup special was particularly good.

Such a charming and totally interesting Old Worlde cafe. unpretentious, full of magic, wonderful afternoon teas, the best scones this side of the Black Stump, and the friendliest service of anywhere. It's the first building in Malmsbury's shopping centre, on the left travelling North, and if you miss it, you've missed the best part of your day. We first discovered it quite a few years ago, and today made a stop to enjoy scones, jam, cream, and a pot of tea, fresh brewed coffee for my missus. Exactly the same, no change whatsoever over the years, which makes it unique. Thoroughly recommend it.

On a wet morning, the welcoming host made me a ‘bespoke’ bacon-butty which was delicious! Loved the tea and coffee too. We sat and chatted with locals who love the place. Can’t get a better recommendation than that! We’ll be back for the scones next time.

Beautiful little cafe and curiosity store. Unfortunately we were full and didn’t get to have a coffee or any scones but we had a good chat with the lovely owner. Next time we’re up this way we’ll definitely stop for a recharge.

An ecclectic antique shop cum cafe. Owner helpful and fun. Great scones! A rare treat.

Can't quite remember what l went in here for BUT it was way cool . I believe it should get the Jungle Jim seal of approval ... be there or be square x Wait on - l've remembered 'cause l went back there again . The proprietor Len is charming ...he makes great Coffee . I am not easily fooled . The Scones with Jam&Cream were excellent . I even had a Toasted Sandwich . First time l popped in l bought an Opinel Knife for my friend , second time l bought an Aussie Made Woolen Scarf - because it was delightful . All in all a very cool establishment full of interesting things to buy and wonderful conversation for absolutely nothing x

This was such a lovely surprise on the drive home from Daylesford back to Melbourne! We didn't expect an 'open' sign late on a Sunday afternoon but popped in just in case there was a chance of a cup of tea. The lovely owner made us a big beautiful pot of earl grey and served us wonderful scones, warm from the oven, with jam and cream. We each chose a handful of treasures from among his genuinely curious curios, and checked out his beautiful photography on the walls. An odd thing to add to a review, perhaps, but I also loved the toilet with walls absolutely covered in poetry and other words of wisdom and nonsense! Highly, highly recommend stopping if you find yourself in the area.

My dad, sister and I stopped on the way here for a coffee and were so pleasantly surprised to discover this unique little store. Len is such a lovely man who makes a cracking coffee too. Such a sweet little place to stop off and admire the kitsch gifts it has on offer.

Absolutely beautiful place, I dont have words to describe how lovely the owner is. He welcomed us into his little shop which doubles as a cafe with a huge smile. Food was delicious and price was very good considering most breakfasts now cost around $25 for one serving. We got two full meals for that price at this quirky little Cafe. The outside is absolutely gorgeous, it has several little spots in the garden, some in the sun others in shade, and a few right between the two for those who want a bit of both. couldn't recommend a better place for a nice all day breakfast.
