Regrettably, we waited close to 45min for our lunch at the cafe. Yes it's busy, and tables full, but that wait was just far too long. Food and coffee was delish.

Abrupt male member of staff barking orders at us before we were though the front door. This is not charming, it is rude. If you do not enjoy dealing with the public or do not know how to talk to people, then you are in the wrong occupation and it is time to move on.

Staff, especially Katie & Mac, were very welcoming, and they were very keen to assist us. Big array of brochures for local attractions, and great souvenirs too. Katie could not have been more helpful.

If you want useful information avoid the old bloke with the beanie at the counter! He just scoffed at my wife when she asked for information on highlights on the way to Mt Isa saying what sort of question is that"?! He had to ask the lady who was able to give us some information while he waffled on telling stories about himself!"
