Beck & Small are professional and have excellent communication with their clients. Their responses have always been extremely prompt and all our requests have been managed and dealt with with the utmost efficiency. I am very happy with them and would absolutely recommend them!

Would give zero stars if I could! We had a terrible experience with Beck and Small.Beck and Small brought in a bad tenant for our property. The tenant consistently paid less than the due amount without appropriate action from Beck and Small, they stopped managing the property after 6 months and the tenant vacated the property 6 months before end of the 2 year contract.Just recently we also discovered Beck and Small failed to obtain a signed rental contract from the tenant.Cost us a lot of money, time and trouble to go to VCAT to recoup some of the costs.Furthermore, Beck and Small were unresponsive and failed to provide documents requested for the VCAT hearing despite numerous follow up attempts.They are not up to the standard expected to manage a high end rental property, we paid them thousands and thousands of dollars and had a very negative experience in our dealings with them and also recently discovered they bad mouthed us to the tenant. They poorly managed the tenant and our property and simply failed in their level of customer care given how much we were paying for their service. We warn people to stay away!We have had a much better experience with other real estate agents for the same property and have not encountered the same problems or unprofessionalism dealing with any other real estate agent.We have also received responses from other real estate agents who have been very happy to work with us and have actually requested to work with us again.Further to Beck & Small's response below we had to delete and repost using my husband's last name as they breached our privacy and illegally posted our personal details including full names, property address, business details and work details in their initial reply as a personal attack as they were unhappy with our review. They removed this only after I mentioned the breach and advised I would take this to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner if not removed. Once again showing a high level of unprofessionalism.There are no inaccuracies with the review. I am an Australian lawyer who works in the advertising law space fully understanding the legal ramifications and would not and HAVE NOT falsely posted any details regarding our dealings with Beck and Small.Given the delays due to COVID the VCAT case only went ahead last month and we sent correspondence to Beck and Small only a month back with no replies.There were no issues with us as landlords as shown by the fact we have had zero issues with other real estate agents. Using the term 'termination', rather than them 'choosing not to manage the property further' (language used with us directly), is a blatant attempt to push blame onto us for their failures. There were no problems with us or the property, they simply brought in a tenant who was continuously complaining about unwarranted or fallacious issues to attempt to get out of the lease agreement as they could not afford rental payments, which proved to be the case via the VCAT hearing. They are trying to push blame onto us for their failings in adequately vetting the tenant they brought into the property and then failing to manage them properly.It is disappointing to see multiple failures on their account and zero accountability, no support for us as a customer and no acknowledgement or statement that they will do better.WE POST THIS SO OTHERS ARE AWARE OF THE POTENTIAL RISKS OF USING THEIR SERVICES AND MAKE AN INFORMED CHOICE.IF WE HAD BEEN AWARE WE WOULD HAVE AVOIDED THEM AT ALL COSTS!!
