Looksmart Alterations

DO NOT GO HERE.I took a $400 jumpsuit that I'd bought over seas to be adjusted. I picked it up and got it out of the car the following day. The tie belt around the jumpsuit was missing. I rang, they said they'd look and call me back. I never got a call back. Worried that I didn't have something so valuable, I went to visit the store the next day to ask in person. They said they looked but couldn't find it. They will do a proper look and call me back. There was no concern, no apology, it was like I was disturbing them.I didn't receive a call back so two days later I went back again. The lady then told me that any 'scraps' or fabric that's fallen on the ground is cleared off once a week and thrown out. It must be gone. Then she turned around and walked back behind the curtain!My $400 jumpsuit is now useless. I can't believe a service could be so terrible. Disgusting customer service and such a costly mistake without even an apology.

We took in a suit jacket to be altered. When we picked it up, they had shortened the sleeves instead of lengthening them! They assured us it could be fixed however when we picked it up a second time, it was not acceptable. You can see the poor quality tailoring from the photos. The buttons were crooked and I'm not sure what they did with the button hole effect but that was gone. They added in two different pieces of fabric to the inner sleeves and it was crooked. There were threads hanging off everywhere. I asked their head office for a refund and a new suit jacket which we were granted. I wouldn't recommend Looksmart.

I am beyond thrilled with the alterations I had done with Looksmart. I took in my favourite pair of jeans which were swimming at my waist, and a pair of designer trouser pants and had the hem raised & waist taken in on both. I was nervous as I had never had alterations before, but I am sooo happy I took them here. Both pants now fit me perfectly, they did such a brilliant job. A little pricier than I was expecting but totally worth it for the quality and speedy service. These pants would’ve sat in my wardrobe unworn for ages otherwise, thank you so much !

Nothing is too difficult for the tailors at Erina fair. I took in a pair of linen pants with the elastic actually sewn into the waistband, what an amazing job they did. If you are concerned with the cost remember these ladies are professionals who offer quality tailoring.

I had a very tricky issue with a skirt to deal with and I was very fussy and Dominic handled my requests very well and with ultimate professionalism! 5 stars! :)

I put a jacket in to have an internal zipper pocket added for security while travelling. I was shown a zipper like that on the jacket. The zipper installed was an awful metal zipper with a really jerky action. Very difficult to use.

Never, ever again!!I asked to repair a pants pocket & to patch 2 holes. Very expensive,he didn't fix the pocket cos some stitching had been done before?? I said so what, I'd like it fixed. He actually stood and argued for 5 minutes! When I insisted, it took him literally 30 seconds and it was fixed,and the 2 patched holes only lasted 2 weeks and fell apart again!

Had an emergency with some suit pants the day before a wedding, came into these guys first thing and they had it sorted within half an hour. Highly recommend!

I always go to Mercie at your Erina store for all my alterations. She does an amazing job and does exactly as I ask her. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Mercie for any of your alteration needs. Her work is of a very high standard!

I love this place - I’ve had a pair of jeans, leather pants, tailored shirt and pants altered here, and they always do a fantastic job. Lovely and professional service also!
