Thompson Beach South Public Toilet
We are talking about the toilets, not the town. South, central and north. Composting toilets, no running water, can feel strange to the uninitiated but at least they are provided. (Town is on rainwater.) Clean, nearly always toilet paper, 1 lock has broken but you almost never see anybody there at the same time anyway. Not designated as disability but cubicals are large and approach is ramped but rough. Hand sanitiser / wet wipes in car would be a bonus.

Rating thompson beach here since there is no option to review the beach. Great place for crabbing, get proper crabbing rakes and a ruler to make sure the crabs arent too small. Come during low tides

Our first visit. Very quiet beach (no surf) that we wanted to visit for a quiet walk and to exercise our old dog. Perfect.

It's a beautiful spot , I'd give it more than three stars had there been clear walking trails . Actually received some advice while there . Make sure you know when high tide is . This will make a great difference to visit . If you follow rd right to the end you will find a walking trail .
