Great community park to have in the centre of town, only thing missing is proper surf club I don't think the city council has appreciate that this beach is the only one safe for kids to learn to handle swimming in the ocean. A club house would be a great asset to the community.

This playground is open to the public and next to the beach, it has great shade from the trees, easy accessible to all surrounding shops and public toilets.

Found a 100 m square grass area just opposite the basketball courts and 10m away from the beach. Started doing circuit training. Then went for a swim. Best gym I have ever been to.

This playground has so many things! Giant climbing web with slide (closed for safety audit), enclosed cage basketball/soccer court, and two super fun interactive game machines where you move a lot and press flashing buttons. Awesome for kids and adults too :)

A beautiful beach overlooking the Port, with lots of open space for the Kids to run and play, could use some shade over the play equipment, considering the harsh sun in summer.

My daughter loves this cutting edge playground on the Beach Front.The Beach is also of a high quality, sheltered and relatively safe. Rare to see a RIP happening and when they do occur are quite small primarily as the beach is totally sheltered from the prevailing SW Swell.Beach has good sand bottom and is very rarely affected by weed.
