Herberton Wild River Caravan Park

Just arrived at the wonderfull Park.I love it!Very spacious and natural surroundings.The camp kitchen is fantastic! They have another camp kitchen with an old stone BBQ and fire place, which is fantastic. The bird life is great!The park is 2ks out of town Atherton side.The staff were very friendly and easy.Would definitely recommend this park.Just love Herberton!

Came into Herberton not sure if I was going to stay, the Tourist information centre said to go to see the Heritage Village and they also recommended Herberton Wild River.C.P...I arrived the price was very good powered site for just one person..isaid I needed some help the manager helped me reverse into my site...gave me an extension lead for my van...it is very relaxing.great camp kitchen...big ensuite showers..very quirky lots of old equipment.a area just to light a fire...and frozen home cooked meals...I give it a good review...

Great amenities that are super clean and well laid out. Friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. Tidy camp ground and lots to do in town nearby. Will definitely stay here again

What a gem this place is !!!Stayed in one of the must be almost new cabins - very clean and the beds where super comfortable - park at your front doorRobyn and Dannielle where super friendly and nothing was any trouble for themVery large shady park - apparently you can see rabbits here but we unfortunately didn’tAcross the road is the river - a short 2 minute drive uptown there are a couple of old fashioned pubs that have a charm all of their own and well priced beerIf you don’t want to be bombarded with a thousand rules as soon as you enter a caravan park this place is the right oneEasy going and relaxed - there’s also a very inviting camp kitchen here and a wood hut for the winter fire pit gatherings- awesome!!And then there’s the Historic Village - WOW !!Roll back your clocks 30-50-100years and enjoy a few days or a weekend turned back in timeWe will definitely be back soonAnd thanks Again Robyn and Dannielle for your hospitalityWe will be back

Way better now with the new owners,Stayed here for an emergency stay for the week and felt like I could just pack my life up and move in, such friendly owners who keep the grounds in a very tidy state..My recommendation when setting up a camp would be higher on the hill in the wet season, will definitely be returning here again

Very disappointing.We were in a tent and used the camp kitchen breakfast and dinner.It served its purpose but also used by the long term residents, who are living in tents, and does not have a good feel.We left early and went somewhere else.You have to queue up to use the toilet and shower.The main problem is the dodgy residents.I would not recommend.

What a great neat, tidy and friendly park. Rustic camp kitchen and a drive to town.The office has frozen meals. The Jacaranda Cafe is the only real place to eat.We didn't have a good pub experience. Which is a shame because the two hotels let down the historical great little community.

Great park, great atmosphere and the staff are absolutely lovely. Would highly recommend.
