LAKIS DRY CLEANING

When all of our brand new jersey's got saturated and covered in mud from the recent floods, we called Lakis to see if they could fit us in. Not only did they fit us in, they bought our jersey's back to as new condition, no yucky mud and no foul stench! On top of this, they cleaned them for us absolutely FREE, this is what community spirit is all about. For a business to help out a sports club at their lowest is absolutely fantastic.THANK YOU LAKIS, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

How hard is it to advertise your opening hours? Fair enough they were closed on boxing day, but nothing to say when they were open. Went back on the 27th and they are still closed with nothing to say when they might be open. Won't be trying a third time.

Worst dry-cleaning service I have received. I'm the person who likes to look after my clothes and reads the clothing care tags! They ruined my Esprit sweater brought from Germany and the lady kept telling me that it says you can wash and dry-cleanboth. Well I asked for a dry-clean, why the he'll would you wash? Another work jacket turned from off-white to reddish white.I have used many different dry-cleaners in Brisbane and never had an issue with any of them until my local shop closed.Please do yourself a favour and do not handover your precious clothes to this place.I'll post pictures soon of the damages done.

Put a jacket it and got it back still dirty. They asked me to leave it there for a second clean but never collected it again. The poor agent who accepted the dry cleaning on their behalf in our neighbourhood, got abused on the phone by them after we voiced our concerns. Poor quality and poor service.

Ruined multiple designer garments. Clothing labels clearly stated ‘do not bleach’, yet I received my white garments with fluorescent yellow patches due to bleaching. Balmain blazer came back with buttons missing. Leather patches on designer jeans were burnt/ironed and completely destroyed. Burberry polo had pulls throughout the top. The lady was extremely rude and took zero responsibility for the way my garments were returned and insisted it was the manufactures fault.

This is a great place to bring your shirts and pants for ironing. Very reasonable prices and professionally done.

Item was shrunk by 2 sizes, even after paying extra for this special fabric jacket to be dry cleaned. Management was extremely rude and focused on attempting to bamboozle me with laying blame and avoiding the complaint rather than actually attempting to resolve the matter. I was blamed for not bringing the item back within 24 hours, then the manufacturer was blamed for the fabric being faulty. At no time was I offered even so much as an apology. No acceptance of liability was made either. Reluctantly, I left my jacket with management to clean again, gratis, and advised it would 'blown out'. Which was purported to fix the shrunken item. After this was completed, management demanded I collect my jacket along with a letter I'm told must be presented to the manufacturer. I was not given any reassurance it had been fixed when management called me. I was simply commanded to collect my jacket immediately. The management here is unprofessional and service level provided is well below standard. I would not recommend this dry cleaning service.

This place has no idea how to look after designer/delicate items. Item came back worse than when it was left. Service was one of the rudest I've ever seen, no apology whatsoever. If anything they just wanted to argue how right they were even when I tried to show them a photo of a section of the garment before I left it with them. It showed there was no stain there that now is present.I understand I asked for an urgent dry clean so they may not have had enough time to work on it. However I didn't expect it to come back with marks that weren't there previously. Quite shocking how they respond to a customer concern, just saying they can't please everyone". Please don't leave your delicate items here

I always get a suit dry-cleaned after use so it can be stored properly, had my son's suit dry-cleaned in January and made a note to them re dirty marks, suit returned and appeared clean". It was correctly stored in the suit bag

I put my winter jacket in for dry clean in August. Upon collection, the vinyl on the jacket has peeled off, its terrible. The lady said the company will ring me to show me how the repairs will be made before the repairs,.so i know what it will look like.The next call i received was the repairs are done and ready for collection. The belt/buckle has been removed without my knowledge and the threads are coming off. Had to send it back for repairs. 2 weeks later haven't heard from Lakis. It's now mid Sept. Wait for another week.
