First time RenterOwner & Landlord of multiple propertiesWe rented a home via PRG while renovating our home. The house was kept 'immaculate' in PRG words (within the Property Reports & on their advertisement for new Tenants) however it was not immaculate when we moved in, very dirty and lots of items broken. We improved the property.Upon departure PRG made it very difficult for me to leave as they wanted to keep my Bond for imaginary 'repairs' & 'dirt'. They insisted on a cleaner & wall cleaner to attend even though there was nothing to clean (cost would be $500+). I believe they just wanted to keep my Bond. Luckily, I've had experience with PM's & myself as a Landlord, so I got all my Bond back - they did not get one cent.Very unprofessional and unpolite, never addressed me by my name or thanked me for improving/keeping the property to a high standard.Renters - take photos of EVERYTHING the DAY you move in. Including marks on walls, ceilings, curtains, doors (inlc. garage), shower screens, fly screens etc. Do not accept a rent increase (they tried to increase it by $90 p/week, got $10p/week from me). It costs a lot for Landlords to change Tenants so they will not end your Lease over a declined rental increase.Fellow Landlords - They will not treat your Tenants with any dignity or respect and will try to take their Bond without your knowledge. They also missed many booked Rental Inspections. I'm glad our Landlord had a good outcome with a good Tenant, I would be worried how PRG would handle bad Tenants.
