Townsville Museum
Could have been interesting but we felt very uncomfortable as we were followed and watched continuously, as if we were going to steal items. The two volunteers even expressed that they were doing a 'change of the guard' to keep an eye on us. It was so uncomfortable that we only saw half the small museum. Very disappointed.

Called to verify if place had to be paid b4 entry cos I was bringing a physically challenged. Woman on the phone was so rude, and kept telling me to repeat myself. For God's sake.there are over 700 accent in the world and if you serve the public you need to make an effort else stat away from phones

An extremely interesting museum...such a shame it is located where it is...should be on the Strand....wonderful collection of memorobillia and the guide Fred is an exceptional asset to the museum......keep up the good work....Townsville Council please relocate the museum where more people can explore Townsville history..

Great for the kids. Could be well placed in the town centre though to attract other than locals with vehicle access: somewhere like the old Townsville Railway Station
