Quiet...peaceful...small but perfect pool for a few friends to share...Looking for a few days away to relax? This is perfect

It's tired and expensive. Only dining table is outside and is stained, mouldy and dirty. All woodwork needs oiling. Bedspread needs a wash, back garden a mess, instant coffee hard as a brick. The whole place needs a revamp to get it back to 5 star status. You'll get better value for your money somewhere down the road. $450 a night for this is disappointing.

Lovely stay at Cassawong Cottages! The cottages are cute and dainty, with all the features needed for a comfortable stay. The back deck overlooks beautiful rainforest, great for spotting cassowaries! Excellent location right across the road from the beach and not too far of a drive from local shops. Would definitely love to come and stay again :)

Cottages very dated, the barbeque was dirty and unusable without a good clean. The kitchenette did not have any serving bowls or platters. The towels and linen were of a good quality. Overall would not recommend was not good value for money

Cute cottage with granite benchtops. Thoughtfully equipped kitchen with items like cling wrap, spray oil, silicon spatula etc.Cut our stay short due to strong mould smell in the cottageVisible mould growing on kitchen ceiling, lounge area louvres, and kitchen lounge and bedroom blinds. In fairness though totalmould control may be challenging in the wet tropicsLights not working in lounge or above mirror in bathroomThe two frypans provided are way past their useby datesThe tv remote will adjust volume down but not upChrome leg under breakfast bar rusty (Nice granite benchtops)The bathroom vanity unit is delaminating and swollen at the baseThe vanity handles and toiletpaper holder are corrodedThe grouting above the bath is in poor condition and black with mould.Realistically the blinds throughout need to be replaced with a mould resistant or cleanable vinyl fabricEmailed the management re above however no response

Stayed in the butterfly cottage.Beautiful location lovely and peaceful and quiet very quaint location like your staying in a rainforest right over from the beautiful beach. Cassowary visited me came face to face was amazing experience. Highly recommended

Beautiful cabins and love that they are pet friendly and have spa, courtyard and self-contained. potential to be really noisy, since no management is on-site and some cabins cater to groups it would seem. Was next to butterfly cabin and ppl were very noisy even when the ppl changed over. Says no visitors but the first ppl had ppl coming and going constantly. Also some ppl ruin it for others. The guy in the cabin next to me took his Rottweiler swimming in the pool. I'm a dog person but that's really gross. Beautiful cabins and location (although i prefer the beach further in Mission Beach- main part not south). Love the cabins themselves but will stay at caravan park again next time as it was quiet and someone on-site to deal with ppl who break rules.Noisy ppl ruined my time here. Wanted to cancel 3rd night but think I'd loose money so didn't.

Well designed and laid out and remarkably cool even with the aircons off!!

Clean. That means a LOT.Access to washing and drying facilities; very welcome indeed.Spa was a complete indulgence.Lovely big comfy bed.Kitchen facilities and comfortable living space.One point worth mentioning is that there is very little privacy here if you don't shutter yourself in completely.Your neighbours can see right through from most sides. So remember to close the blinds before taking a shower or dress before you come out of the bathroom.Warning old person rant coming up...For those of us whom are even mildly vision impaired some things have been bloody frustrating,tiny key codes, can't see the numbers even with a phone torch when arriving after dark or in daylight. Hard to spot the place from the street at night when arriving tired and late.However despite gripes, I recommend this place. It has been lovely. Thank you.

Stayed here back in March '20. Lovely little cottage, beautifully maintained gardens, really enjoyed the pool with gentle trickle of the fountain. Owners relaxing! Owners were friendly, atmosphere lovely and quiet and 2 mins access to stunning beach. Really enjoyed our stay.
