Location is on top of a multi storey car park(2nd storey) , so you cant see it from street level. Its about a 15 min walk from North Sydney train station. They have 4 tennis courts which are sand based astroturf. There is a little gym and small toilets. I play 5 a side football here on Thursday with urban rec social competition. There are always tennis lessons going on at the same time on a thursday. Nice facilities, well located.

Unreasonable and rude staff!Haven't even been to the court, but due to sheer rudeness and inflexible staff, I won't be going here in the future. Just trying to deal with them in changing a booking due to illness was enough to put me off for life!Just be nicer to people, especially in in these hard times.

Greatly improved now that there is less sand on the courts. The bounce is now more consistent.The fences are a little too close to the baselines - deep lobs can be hard to return.

No one is responsible for the operation, booked and paid for class sessions and no coach is available! Sending people back with no one in management to follow up! Similar situation has happened few times! Suggest young kids find somewhere else to learn tennis!

My local tennis court. Gets a bit sandy from time to time but thoroughly enjoy playing here, tennis on the weekends or one of Urban Rec's social sports like multisport or street soccer. If you're playing street soccer here with Urban Rec, careful wearing futsal shoes as it's pretty slippery on the sandy areas of the court.

Attempted to attend beginner's 'social tennis' on Sunday. Here's how it's advertised on their website:Just turn up and play! Social Tennis players meet at the front counter and we match you up with a court and a player. It couldn’t be easier!"It turns out that social tennis is actually a court booking for $25 that you share with strangers

Competitions are run by Greg. He's a long time committed staff. Courts had a recent resurface but a great deal of residual sand.

The staff are not very flexible and the coaches are uninspiring. Plenty of other better courts and coaches in the area.
